Pool Construction Tips

Hi, I'm Mandy. If you're looking for tips on pool construction, you've come to the right place. We've just had a new pool installed and I'm full of advice! When I started on our pool I thought it would be an easy build. Boy, was I wrong. I didn't know anything about building a pool apart from the fact I wanted one. Luckily, our construction company set me straight. They helped me work out how big the pool could be and they showed me which shape would suit our yard space. They sorted out permits and even gave me advice on fencing. To find out what I learned, read through my blog. Hope it helps!

Reasons to Use a Land Surveyor Before Hunting Season

by Bessie Beck

When you think of using a land surveyor, you probably think about buying or selling a home. You may also think about adding more land or building on the current property. What you may not think of are hunting seasons. If you own a large portion of land that borders hunting or fishing property, then you may want a land surveyor ahead of the various hunting seasons. Here are some reasons why.

Marking off Hunting Land

One of the main reasons you want to use a land surveyor before hunting season is to mark off your uncleared property line. This is especially important if you have wooded areas with trails that are not easy to see from your home. This is also important if your land has areas that border on designated hunting areas. The land surveyor can help find the boundaries and create clear lines with surveying tape.

This tape can work on its own, but you can also use it as a marker to having privacy fencing placed or other boundary markers. By marking off and creating a clear boundary of the hunting land you can help reduce liability if someone is hurt while hunting on your property. You can also effectively prosecute if people are trespassing during hunting season.

Marking off Stream and Lake Boundaries

If you have streams or lakes on your property, you will want to make sure the land surveyor does mark these off with clear distinction as to where they stop and start. This is more for overlapping portions of streams and lakes that may not be an obvious part of your property line. As with the hunting boundary lines, the surveyor can place survey tape so that more permanent boundaries can be placed later to keep out unauthorised fishing and fishing trap placement.

Placing No Trespassing and Cameras

The main benefit and reason for the land surveyor use before the hunting season is for placement of no trespassing signs and trail cameras. The trail cameras can give you a round-the-clock view of the property areas that are not easily seen from home. They can also give you a recording of any animals or people that are on the property and using trails in the back areas. No trespassing signs can also be placed directly along the borders that are marked by the surveyor to help reduce people from using your property.

If you need land surveyor services, contact your local surveying company today. They can help you with your needs and schedule an appointment for the survey.
